It was born out of, “What can we do for the community? For the studio? Let's invite our design heros and see if they come,” and they did. We know there are other people in our community that want these resources to exist, and we can help make those things happen, so that’s why we do it.

The podcast came from being part of a diverse community of creatives, and getting to speak with designers doing amazing work that we admire. Our intentions behind all these initiatives are to get people excited about design, because we’re excited about design.

A natural progression was to have a little design gallery dedicated to prominent works of design. And another thing that's surfaced out of these initiatives and design history, and seeing this lineage and how we're part of it, is that we’ve gotten to this point where we’ve realized that design is a collective human act, it doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
