We started researching for inspiration through great Italian designers and in the end we got to the work of Bruno Munari, what really caught our attention was Ora X, this clock that was part of a series that he created.

Evolution of Identity
It's a series of sections of circles overlapped, and from a simple shape, a very simple object, you get infinite permutations and a very complex living thing.

Fjord Milan (2018)
Fjord Milan Final Identity
It is an experiment of generative art. We will do a live session with all studio members and with an app, their responses in real time affect the studio mark. At the end of the session we will have a global studio mark from the Milan studio and every participant will have their own permutation.
"A thread that goes through our work, is that if it doesn't have a purpose, it’s cut, because it’s never about decorating, it’s always looking for the functionality."
